| Description | Ivor Dembina is a comedian and comedy club promotor.
The Ivor Dembina Collection comprises material created and collected by Ivor including material relating to his career as a stand-up comedian (including promotional material for some of his shows and venues he has appeared at; administrative information for his own shows, including in London and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and video recordings of him performing stand-up) and as a comedy club promotor for clubs The Red Rose, Hampstead Comedy Club, Brixton Comedy Club, and the Camden Comedy Club (including photos, listings/bookings and promotional material).
Posters were lent to the University of Kent for scanning before being returned. Other material was either physically deposited (the VHS), deposited as digital files on a usb stick (this material was weeded by the Archivist before becoming a part of the Collection), or emailed by the depositor. |
