[Analysis by Matthew Hoss] As discussed in the interview, Olly and Richard discuss how the boundary of Performance spills over into real-life through acts like Herring's Hitler Moustache (2010 show) and a twitter feed. "Honesty is the last taboo" - You have to be open to what you are own faults are. But you are still a character in some form on stage with comedic conceit. Lee and Herring share a similar sense of humour and discussing similar topics but they do it it different ways, based on their personas. Herring discusses that the way he creates his material is being going on stage with something vague he wants to say and after two months it becomes a routine. Herring is less scripted, but he says this allows him to develop sets a lot more. Herring motivated by quality not being successful per se. Herring is in a position of where he has many outlets of comedy and he has 100% control of what he wants to do. He writes what he wants for the people who "gets him".
