This occasion was marked by a series of celebratory shows throughout September & October 1993, with a special week-long run of shows from the 6th-10th October at the club. This run of shows ended with a special 'Big Birthday Comedy Bash' at the Hackney Empire which featured acts including Harry Hill, Alistair McGowan, Arnold Brown, Mark Hurst, Earl Okin, Ian Cognito, Jenny Eclair, John Moloney, Chris Lynam and Jo Brand.
