Admin historyRichard Morton is a British comedian, musician and songwriter from North East England. He was a founding member of the London Comedy Store's 'Cutting Edge' show and won a Time Out Comedy Award in 1992. His comedy duo, Panic Brothers, which he formed with Reg Meuross in 1985, are a close harmony comic singing duo who were well known on the London club circuit in the late 1980s and went on to perform at the Edinburgh Fringe and touring the UK.

Morton's solo comedy career also kicked off in the late 1980s where he was part of the alternative comedy scene performing with acts such as Jo Brand, Mark Thomas and Linda Smith. He regularly appeared at the Edinburgh Fringe between 1990-2001 with solo shows and on bills with fellow comedians. He often supported acts on tour, including Lee Evans, Jack Dee and Jo Brand, and his first solo headline tour was in 1994. From the mid-1990s he appeared on radio and television. In 2010 Morton returned to his musical roots, releasing albums and composing themes for various shows including for Vic Reeeve's radio show 'Does the Team Think' which aired on BBC Radio 2.
