DescriptionCorrespondence, organisation, publicity and press/reviews for book launches for 'I Think the Nurses are Stealing My Clothes: The Very Best of Linda Smith', at Memorial Hall, Sheffield City Hall (Thursday 26 October 2006) as part of the Off The Shelf festival in which Warren Lakin was in conversation with Rony Robinson (BSUCA/LS/12/1/8/1), and launches at The Drill Hall, London, on Monday 30 October (featuring comedians performing extracts from the book) (BSUCA/LS/12/1/8/2), and at Aldersbrook Library, Wanstead on Wednesday 1 November 2006 (BSUCA/LS/12/1/8/2), of which the proceeds of the event were donated to the Barnabas Workshops appeal. The event at The Drill Hall on Monday 30 October was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 as 'I Think the Nurses Are Stealing My Clothes: the Very Best of Linda Smith' on 10 November 2006. Performers included Jo Brand, Phill Jupitus, Mark Steel, Charlotte Green, Ivor Dembina, John Sergeant, Arthur Smith, Jenny Lecoat, Sandi Toksvig, Sean Lock, Steve Gribbin and Brian Mulligan, Femi Elufowoju Jnr, Phill Jupitus, Andy Hamilton, Nicholas Parsons, and Chris Neill.
