Dramatised account of Corporal 'Peter Brown' of The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), who is promoted to Sergeant, and faces the decision whether to stay in the Army, or leave for a civilian job. Stressing the importance of NCOs to the Army, and contrasting the advantages of service life with the difficulties of civilian life. Letter and photocopies of Dragon cuttings concerning the Cross Roads film, made with the Buffs in 1956, Wuppertal Germany. 2 copies of a list of resources availble at the Buffs Regiment Minutes of Regimental Association Meeting on 21st October 2005. Folded Church of England notice about the Aleppo Garrison Church services. Board with Appendix XIX (from Army List?) entitled 'Army Numbers Allotted to Corps, Etc.' pasted to it. Letter and email enquiry for a copy of a painting of the Buffs at Albuhera, and printed copies including close ups of different sections. Letter of thanks from the widow of a Buff following the death of her husband. 1 autograph book belonging to Evelyn Flynn, containing signatures, poems, quotations and sketches from soldiers 1910s and 20s. This was obtained seperately from the Buffs deposit and no Buffs soldiers can be identified in it.
