Dramatised account of Corporal 'Peter Brown' of The Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment), who is promoted to Sergeant, and faces the decision whether to stay in the Army, or leave for a civilian job. Stressing the importance of NCOs to the Army, and contrasting the advantages of service life with the difficulties of civilian life.
