A printed notice indicates that the play is part of a "Charles Dickens Centenary Festival". This is "With the Support of Alfred Tennyson Dickens, Henry Fielding Dickens, K.C., and Mrs. Perugini (nee Kate Dickens), Sons and Daughter of the Great Novelist, the Council of the Dickens fellowship, and the Dickens Centenary Committee."
