A note is printed on the front cover of the programme that states, "The Children's Theatre, Ltd., under Glyndebourne Management in collaboration with Toynbee Hall, supported by the London County Council Education Committee"
There is a mission statement printed on the back page of the programme which outlines the aims of The Children's Theatre and refers to this production of Great Expectations as their first dramatic production.
In the cast list the name of the actor listed as playing Clara Barley, Anne West, has been crossed out and Lillian Temple typed in beneath.
