DescriptionSeveral boxes of material, including some women's magazines, formerly owned by the children's book author Grace Pettman, who was active in the first half of the 20th century. Pettman was born in Ramsgate and lived in East Kent. She was a baptist by religion, and the collection includes extracts from several religious magazines. Her religion clearly influenced her writing. She also wrote under the pseudonym Spencer Deane.
