The postcard is rather dog-eared and stained. The mount of the large print is badly stained on the reverse by "Blu-Tac".
"Gandhi, Dean Hewlett Johnson, and Miss Slade outside the Deanery ". There is also an address written in blue ink- "Charing, Hill Top, Charing, Kent. Copy 4054 has in ink "Hewlett Johnson with Gandhi when he stayed at the Deanery, Canterbury in 1931"
