DescriptionThe whole of this File comprises correspondence between 1935 and 1938 with Ezra Pound, the American expatriate, poet, musician, critic and economist who, along with T.S. Eliot, was a major figure of the modernist movement in early 20th century poetry . Almost all the letters are from Pound to Johnson, and are largely incomprehensible.
