Description
Two sheets of A4 concerning a painting of Charles Darwin discussing the Wallace letter with Charles Lyle and Joseph D. Hooker, by the Russian painted Eistaphieff (also known as Evstafieff). Mr Johns notes that this meeting never took place, as the discussion of Wallace's letter to Charles Darwin between the three men took place by letter. Signed and dated by Mr. Johns 3491.
