Items covered include plays staged eg there is mention in 1887 of Mr. Melville's staging of The Corsican Brothers and plays performed in Birmingham and Bristol. Also the opening of Mr. Day's new concert hall in Cardiff, 2 Aug 1887.There are also a series of cuttings unrelated to theatres covering events such as court cases and events in Parliament.
