Also cuttings relating to 'bucketshop' frauds in Birmingham.Also an article from the Daily Mail of 23 Jul 1915 relating to the amalgamation of the companies owning the Palace, Empire and Alhambra music halls. Includes piece on the effects of the war on the theatre including proposals for a tax on war performances. Also copy of The Globe of Wednesday 25 Aug 1915 with accounts of the war especially in the Dardanelles.
