Description	Includes songs, press cuttings, letters, and periodicals. This series mostly comprises printed music sheets although there are a selection of songs for which there are manuscript music parts. There are also 3 Mowhawk Minstrel magazines. The Minstrel Show was a very popular form of entertainment from the 1940's. It was family entertainment as opposed to the Music Hall which was essentially adults only. The Mohawks were among the most famous of the minstrel bands.
