ContentNoteOne printed booklet, one newspaper cutting stuck inside, one manuscript letter. The booklet is in poor condition especially around the edges.
Also included with the score is a letter addressed to Mr Melville from Richard Bastick from Brighton which seems to have accompanied the score which he is offering to Melville.
Words and music for the song 'Ben Bolt, or Oh! Don't You Remember'. Stuck inside title page is a newspaper cutting concerning the play 'Trilby' in which the song is mentioned. The cutting states that the piece was originally a poem and was set to music by Nelson Kneass. The first page of music has the name Kneass in the top right hand corner.
