Notes
The name of the theatre and dates of performance are printed on a label, which is pasted on to the bottom right hand corner of the poster. This label was printed by Wilkinson, Sunderland. No year is mentioned, but this play was written in 1898.
Illustrated with three scenes from the play, in full colour: a male servant polishes the silver while a female servant looks on, with the caption "Women is hasses!!!"; a soldier drains a jug of ale; and a woman and daughter are reunited in the presence of
