| Description | The Rita Lofts Programme Collection consists of 126 programmes for productions (primarily musicals), staged predominantly in Canterbury and London between 1972-2003. Many of the productions represented in this collection refer to, or are adapted from, Judeo-Christian culture; for instance, there are multiple programmes for different productions of Joseph and the amazing technicolor dreamcoat, Godspell, and Jesus Christ Superstar. In addition, there are several programmes for pantomimes and plays adapted from children's stories and intended for a mixed audience. Lastly, there are some programmes for operas, ballets and other performances. |
