| Description | The layout of Play Pictorial changed in Volume 65. It no longer included a comprehensive cast list but retained descriptions of the plot and photographs of the actors in character and in scenes from the play. In particular Florence Desmond as the Fairy, Meg Lemonnier as the Bride, Naunton Wayne as the Registrar, Esmond Knight as the Bridegroom, Jean Davaut and Kenneth Ware as the Witnesses. There are also photographs of Nora Howard as Madame Bonaparte, Naunton Wayne as Napoleon, Charles Heslop as the Postman, Tilly Losch as the Maiden, Iris March "as she appears in the 'First Waltz'", Charles Heslop as Rudolph, Kyra Nijinsky and Tilly Losch as the dancers. |
