Admin historyRoy Holliday was a jazz and dance band drummer with an extenisve knowedge of the entertainment industry. Roy's Grandfather, Rupert Holliday (aka Charley Kenny), was said by the family to have gone to America with Fred Karno in 1909 (this has not been verified) and broke contact with the family. Rupert's brother was in Music Halls from 1910 to 1935, a quick change act known as Wilf Burnand. Roy worked for some time for the Pearl Drum Company. He has appeared in 3 TV documentaries and he was awarded an OU Honorary Degree in 2023.
