| Description | Collection of photographs of the installation of the Chancellor of the University, Princess Marina. These photographs were taken by Roy Thurley, one of the first 500 students at the University of Kent. Roy Thurley worked for InCant, the student newspaper, as a student photographer. The collection includes a mix of 35mm monochrome negatives (33 images) and half frame colour slides (40 slides). The images show the procession at Canterbury Cathedral, Shirley Hall, and Eliot College. |
