DescriptionIn 2020 during the COVID-19 global pandemic, Special Collections and Archives undertook a project to collect responses of the community to the pandemic. This project provided an opportunity for people to reflect on their experiences during the pandemic and contribute to a communal record of these experiences. Contributions were received from students, staff, alumni and other friends and contacts of the University. The contributions were:
1) Alison Webb - digital record of long-covid experience and an image
2) Andy Davey - collection of 10 digital cartoons published in various newspapers
3) Attila the Stockbroker - Digital poems
4) Gaby Berglund Cardenas - Digital essay and movie (collaboration between and artist and a poet)
5) InQuire - photograph competition entries
6) Judy Seymour-Ure - digital recollections
7) Sue Palmer - digital record of activities during COVID lockdown
8) Ruchika Wason Singh, 'When the days became nights' - artwork, sumi-eink, pencil, gouache on paper. 21cm x 29.7cm. 2020-2022. Signed by the artist.
Admin historySpecial Collections and Archives sent a community call out for contributions from students, staff and the wider community reflecting experiences of lockdown and the impact of the COVID19 pandemic. The contents of this collection are the contributions that were sent in as a result of this call out.
