DescriptionThe file includes copies of a poster, calling card, a draft and final version of his election leaflet and notice of meetings introducing Weatherill to the electorate. There are detailed election expenses of printing costs, agents fees and staff costs, room hiring costs and personal expenses. There are also standard letters sent to supporters, letters of thanks, a breakdown of voting in each ward and polling district and the official agreement with the election agent. The printed material includes a copy of the Conservative manifesto 'Prosperity with a Purpose', the Labour Party's manifesto 'Let's go with Labour for the New Britain' and 'Signposts for the Sixties', and notes on various issues from the Prime Minister's office.
