DescriptionMr. Mrs. H. J. Howard, both born in 1892, interviewed in Strood. Mr: father ex prison officer then working with navel ordanance, from a family of two boys. Jobs were telegraph boy, then apprentice white, smith (6yrs). Mrs: (nee Arthell) her father was acoal merchant and green grocer. she came from a family of five boys, five girls , all worked in buisiness.
