DescriptionMr. W. Nichols, born 1898, interviewed in Surrey. His father died before he was the age of five in london, boy bought up by maternal grandparents. Grandpa was a cement worker, Grandma was an ex cook. He was the only child out of 1st marriage, jobs were grocery boy, farm boy, stable lad at gun cotton works, railway clerk and then most of his working life as a station master.
