Fawkes Boucicault Collection Dionysius Lardner Boucicault (1820-1890), better known as Dion Boucicault was a playwright and actor. Principally consisting of the research notes of Richard Fawkes for a biography of Dion Boucicault published in 1979. This collection of around 750 items was used to underpin the richness of detail and concern for accuracy demonstrated in the biography. The meticulously arranged research notes bring together much other relevant material in photocopy and transcribed form, generally arranged in careful date order. 1813-1998
