Hotel Arcadion, Kepkypa, Corfu Written on verso: 'Hotel Arcadion, Kerkira, 22nd Apr. 74. This is almost the view from my hotel room - Mrs. C. would of course have known the Castle, and the Venetian fortresses thereon - and behind are the famous mountains - only in this picture they look blue instead of purple! - but they seem to change colour almost hourly. It is not as hot here as I could wish, yesterday, when I arrived, it was cloudy - glorious sunshine today, however. G.L.' 22 Apr 1974
