Kepkypa, Corfu Written on verso: '23rd April 74. This view is taken from the summit of the Castle, on Citadel, shown in my first card, looking back towards the town - and I think the row of barrack-like buildings in foreground are early enough to have been where Mrs. C., "peeping through the shutters", saw the soldier reprieved from hanging. This is a truly lovely spot, & I hope to see the rest of the island in due course - G.L.' 23 Apr 1974
