The cover depicts, in lithograph, a caricatured image of the performer the performer with a very large head, wearing a top-hat. There are two inset scenes. One shows a man of the cloth smiling, walking with a young lady on either arm who look to be engaged in conversation with him, leaving a group of children behind them: the caption is, ‘They leave the dear children to enjoy themselves while they study nature.’ . The other shows a large group of women crowding through a door with “Divorce Court” signed above: the caption reads, ‘They poke their noses into a heap that even makes the lawyers weep.’ 1900
