The man is holding his face and saying ‘my jaw’s broken’ while the woman responds, ‘well, I can’t understand it, I made it according to the cookery book’. In the second scene a woman is descending a flight of stairs looking shocked at the sight of a gentleman making amorous advances to a pretty, young maid who is carrying a tray. In the third scene an older maid is falling down stairs with an alarmed look on her face and a tray of crockery falling before her. The final scene depicts a woman’s head appearing above a screen, while an elderly man is seated and smiling, having a view behind the screen.
