Grant Files Contains project files relating to grant applications submitted to John Ellerman Foundation by a wide range of applicants. The Foundation has awarded grants in three funding categories: the arts, social action, and the environment. A separate Museums and Galleries Fund existed until 2025 which funded curatorial projects and museum training programmes. There is a particular focus on wildlife and environmental conservation, young people's education and wellbeing, and health. From 2004-2013 John Ellerman Foundation collaborated with the Baring Foundation to fund charitable work in sub-Saharan Africa, establishing the International Development Programme -- records for these grant projects are also included.
