Beamish Museum Correspondence, progress reports, and related records. A grant was awarded for the curatorial activity within the Delivery Phase of 'Remaking Beamish' which will see Beamish evolve through new time periods. The scheme includes a 1950s town and farm as well as an expansion of the existing 1820s area. The grant will fund the salary costs of the Project Officer who will focus on contextual curating: using stories from community members backed up by rigorous research to create specifications for buildings and interiors and informing decisions about which objects are displayed and how. 9 October 2015-20 September 2019
