DescriptionHunted Downwas first produced in Manchester, at the Princess' Theatre, on 30th July 1866. It was originally entitled The Two Lives of Mary Leigh. The London version opened at St James' Theatre on 5th November 1866 and starred Henry Irving, in his first important role in the city.

Material for this play comprises five programmes; two for the 1866 production at St James' Theatre, and three for a production at the Globe Theatre on the Strand, 1876-1877
