| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice titled, “The horse the missis dries the clothes on”, appearing as two folio sheets (total 8 pages). Cover depicts the performer, in lithograph, in a long coat and top-hat. Two other scenes are depicted: A man in a kilt, climbing a flag pole with a policeman and other onlookers below and a woman in night dress surrounded by flames with a fireman scaling a ladder to the rescue. Words of choruses are also depicted, E.G. “You’d better come down at once, you’d better come down at once, For all the people down below, are waiting about for the wind to blow, Oh, I say, you are a bit of a dunce, There’s something making the people laugh, you’d better come down at once. |
