DescriptionSheet music for piano and voice titled, “Down our alley”, appearing as two folio sheets (8 pages total). Cover depicts the performer, in lithograph, dressed as a cockney spiv. Inset images depict “Sally from a photo taken at Hampstead” and a smartly dressed man, “The pal wot came up with ‘is little lot & tried to sneak my gal – Ah! Never interduce yer donah to a pal.” The cover proclaims that the song is ‘Written and sung with the greatest possible success in the musical play, “The ballad singer” by Tom Craven’.
