| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice titled, “All over the shop“ appearing as two folio sheets (8 pages total). The performer is depicted at the centre of the cover, in lithograph, dressed in jodhpurs with a tweed waistcoat, jacket and holding a riding crop. Inset scenes depict an infant apparently eating coal out of a scuttle, a teacher chasing a pupil brandishing a can, two men boxing and a man appearing to dance before a much taller lady. A chorus is depicted: ‘I was all over the shop – all over the shop, Lie me in my little bed, sure to fall out on my head; In one place I never could stop – I was, here, there everywhere – all over the shop’. |
