Will of William Rosier, in which several properties and pieces of land within Rainham Mark and Rainham are granted.

Names a sister-in-law: Mrs Susie Lee of 19 Rectory Road, Stoke, Newington
Names a sister-in-law: Mrs May Rosier of ‘Genesta’, Loxwood Avenue, Horching, Sussex.
Names a niece: ‘Miss Phylliss Griffiths’ (sic) of 10 Broadway, Sheerness, Kent
Names a niece: Mrs Edna Gleadle of 69 Malvern Road, Gillingham
Names a son: William James Rosier of 82 Edwin Road, Rainham, Kent
Names a daughter: Louisa Alice Colyer
Names a granddaughter: Roma (/Rorna) Read of 222 Halligrave Road, Coventry, Harwick. Married to Frederick Read.
It is implied throughout the text that the son is in some debt to ‘Westminster Bank Limited’ in Gillingham – all debts are repaid bar those of his son, and it is noted that he has accounts set aside which the money can be paid off from. The son’s inheritances are granted upon the stipulation that the money he owes is paid back first. |
