Page 1: William Ewart Colyer’s administrators (Louisa Alice Colyer, and George Albert Colyer verify that they assent to Louisa Alice Colyer being vested with her late husband’s estate. The estate comprises of: ‘Alll that piece or parcel of land having a frontage to the High Road leading from Chatham to Canterbury of Twenty eight feet and a depth of One hundred & fifteen feet or thereabouts (be the same a little more or less) and formerly forming part of a larger piece of land conveyed to’ William Ewart Colyer by Frederick Stephen Chapman Folshom on 3rd September 1931. The house erected on that land is known as ‘1 Highfield Villas London Road Rainham Mark Gillingham’. At the base of the page is the signature ‘L A Colyer’, and her signature was witnessed by ‘A Walter Crus[?]’, whose blue ink stamp names him as ‘Clerk to Messrs. Kenneth Redfern & Co., Solicitors, Gillingham, Kent.’ All signatures are written in blue ink. Beneath that is the signature ‘G. A Colyer’, and his signature was also witnessed by ‘A Walter Crus[?]’.
