Behind the map is tucked a further small page entitled ‘Part III Housing Act, 1957.’, certifying that the property has been ‘acquired by the Gillingham Borough Corporation for permanent objects not involving a resale or other disposition’. It is signed by the Town Clerk, Frank Hill.
