Description	Black and white photograph of John Martin sitting in a recording booth reading from a book in the Language Centre. Behind him is a small window where the recording machinery and a sound technician is visible. A no smoking sign is attached to the window frame. Commissioned by Mabel Sculthorpe, founding director of the Language Centre.
