Description
Material comprises one printed edition of the play (1844) and two posters for productions of Used Up, one for Royal entertainment at Windsor Castle in 1849, the other for an undated production at Barons Court Theatre, Hammersmith and Fulham.
Used Up was a collaborative adaptation (with Charles James Mathews) of L'homme blasé by Augustin-Théodore de Lauzanne de Vaux Roussel and Félix Auguste Duvert. Boucicault's adaptation was first produced on 6th February 1844.
