Description	Written on verso: '23rd April 74. Finally, the harbour - the scene in which all the Regimental wives & bachelors ran down, on the arrival of a Greek ship, in order to try & buy teapots. I think you now have all the Corfu views with any bearing on Mrs. C. The reddish foliage on this card is in reality pollarded Judas-trees at this moment in full bloom all over the town, as well as cascades of wistaria & climbing roses. It is quite a walk from the military area to the port - no doubt the teapot-hunters arrived out of breath! Greetings from G.L.'
