| Description | 1 showcard for Cinderella at the Grand Theatre, Brighton, in the late 1940s. The card lists cast and production credits, along with spectacles including 'magnificent electric coach & ponies'. It also lists theatre information, showtimes and ticket prices, in predominantly navy and red lettering with a decorative border of holly and a yellow header. A colour illustration has been pasted in the centre, showing Cinderella in a red rag dress, seated in a pin-up pose whilst the Prince, knealing, fits her glass slipper. The Ugly Sisters pear from the upper window of a timber-framed house, whilst palace attendants are lined on the right hand side with a castle in the background. |
