Description	The diary contains short appointment entries for most days, including the period from May 5th to 24th July when the Dean visited the Soviet Union and Poland on a fact finding mission at the end of the 2nd World War.There is a longer three page entry between May 20th and June 17th concerning a hospital, possibly in Moscow or Leningrad. There are also appointments in New York in November, 1945.
