The man is wearing a dinner suit with a black jacket, white shirt and white bowtie. in the upper left hand corner there is an illustration of an army wearing traditional scarlet serge uniform with a double breasted tunic, trousers and high boots on horse back, holding infantry swords. the army also has two cannons on wheels. In the bottom left hand side of the illustration, there is a man in a long coat carrying a rifle.
