| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice titled, “Getting about“ appearing as two folio sheets (8 pages total). Front cover depicts the performer dressed in waistcoat and jacket, with up-turned collar and a bowler hat, with hands in pockets. There are two inset images, one showing a man falling from scaffolding and the other a man using a crow-bar to open a door, with the caption, ‘He opened a bank.’ Lyrics of the chorus are also depicted; “And he don’t seem to fix his mind on anything, With what he does he always seems in doubt, Once he tumbled off a steeple, and he fell among the people, And he broke his collar-bone somehow – but even now he’s getting about.’ |
