| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice titled, “Brighton” appearing as two folio sheets (8 pages total). The performer is depicted on the cover, in lithograph dressed in an overcoat and top-hat. There are three other scenes depicted, one of the sea front with sea and beach, populated by people and small boats, in the foreground and buildings behind, another of a barber shaving a customer with the caption; ‘In for a scrape. Oh, that razor’. And the third scene depicts two women and man sat at a table raising glasses. The words of the chorus are depicted, ‘To Brighton, to Brighton! Where they do such things, And they say such things, In Brighton! In Brighton! I’ll never go there anymore.’ |
