| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice, titled “The Tailor and the Crow”, appearing as two bifold folio sheets (8 pages total). The cover features a lithograph of George Leybourne (also known as Champagne Charlie), knock-kneed and hands raised, outside a tailor’s shop. A seller’s stamp, reading “BELONGS TO Huntly House, Margate” appears in the top right corner; a second seller’s stamp reads “Hopwood & Crew, 42 New Bond St and at 89 Buckingham Palace Road” appears in the bottom right corner. The sheets have been cut, removing the publisher’s information, but the printer’s address indicates a relationship with Charles Sheard & Co. |
