| Description | Sheet music for piano and voice, titled “My Wife’s a Cook”, appearing as two bifold folio sheets (8 pages total). The cover features a lithograph of Harry Randall, holding a cane and wearing a bowler hat; a smaller vignette of a seated woman, labelled “I don’t mean to say she’s not a clever woman — look what she did last week — went to the butcher, bought a couple of pounds of “pieces”, brought ‘em home, run ‘em through the sewing machine & served them as a joint”; and a smaller boxed image of five children above the words of the chorus. The publisher’s stamp appears at the bottom right corner. The cover and third page attribute the “patter” to Dickson, J. Bernard. |
