Description	Research file compiled by Max Tyler about the performer George H. Elliot, a blackface performer who was known as the "Chocolate Coloured Coon" (b.1882, d.1962). Contains: Photocopy of songsheet 'My Southern Maid', written by Lester Barrett, composed by Hermann E. Darewski Jnr, sung by G.H. Elliott. Printed copy of email correspondence between Max Tyler and Andrew Foster regarding a CD of George Elliott tracks. Printed list of George Elliot songs. Copies of sheet music and lyrics for 'Up went my little umbrella', arranged by R. Gill.
